To be fair, Ford has also been producing smaller, FFV vehicles that can run on E85 ethanol as well as gasoline. Look what happened there. I don't know if there's an E85 pump anywhere in this state.

Ford's response isn't going to greatly affect sales. If people want hybrids, then Toyota will blow them away. If people want to fit more than 4 people in a car, they'll get an SUV.

I hope to blog a little about ehtanol in the near future.

I am just worried we'll be bailing out both Ford and GM after they go bankrupt under the sagging sales of SUV's, and ethanol flex fuel vehicles that get even less mileage than regular gasoline.

Flexibility? You're locked in to paying big bucks for fuel, plus you can't fit into a small parking spot. Yeah, that's real flexible.
