Getting there...

There it is...

For you upstaters. Gas up $0.16 in one hour today. Bought gas at $2.59, returned after appointment, and was up to $2.75. Expect more hikes this week. Keep your tanks full.

i think most people think of premium as expensive anyway. when the cheap stuff hits $3, that'll be a big deal.
Hey Steve,
Diesel here in the Bay Area today went from $3.19 to $3.37 in one day. Glad I'm running on the veggie stuff.
Regular unleaded will probably top $3 a gallon before the big travel weekend...
Insane.
I agree. $3 regular gas is the tipping point for a majority of Americans, I believe. There will be much more of a public outcry at that point. Unfortunately, most of it may be directed at the opening of the SPR as a "solution".
Steve, head on over to my blog for a visual representation of what you'll be dealing with soon...
Completely off topic (although I came here specifically to read about this topic)... where was that picture taken? I wasn't aware there were any Stewarts in this neck of the woods.
Rome New York:
An Exxon station on Martin St. had Premium at $3.01
Here we go.
There is a Stewart's (complete with ice cream) in Mexico, NY. Rte 104. About 35 mins north of the city.
That's interesting. That's got to be the westernmost Stewarts in New York!
